Terms of Service

The Consumer Complaint Agency was established to accept, review, and file complaints on behalf of the consumer. In most cases, these complaints are filed against businesses, although that is not always the case.

CCA reserves the right to prevent complaints from being filed if the complaint has been filed for any illegal or illegitimate purposes. The consumer vows that his complaint is accurate to the best of his knowledge and has not falsified any information in the complaint.

If you elect for us to contact the recipient of your complaint on your behalf, we will attempt to do so based on the contact information you provide. Providing false or erroneous contact information may delay or inhibit our ability to properly inform the business/entity of your complaint. It is not our policy to discuss or review our direct communication with the subject of your complaint. The business/entity will be directed to contact you directly to reach an acceptable resolution to the matter.

Processing fees are non-refundable, except as follows:

**Refunds will only be granted if a written request by e-mail is made within 48 hours of filing a complaint and only if the registrant has not yet received a resolution from the offending business in question. Refund requests should be sent to to support(at)consumercomplaintagency.org.**

No refunds are available after 48 hours from time of initial complaint filing, after the consumer has received remuneration, or after the complaint has been manually reviewed by a CCA agent.

The Consumer Complaint Agency makes no representation or warranty as to its ability or the likelihood of reaching a resolution with the company that is being complained about. CCA reviews and catalogs consumer complaints but makes no guarantee that the company in question will be contacted if erroneous contact information is provided. CCA is not a law firm or a substitute for an attorney. CCA does not provide legal advice or provide legal representation in court. Services provided are not intended to create an attorney-client relationship. CCA is a non-governmental agency that reviews and catalogs consumer complaints.

Fraudulent Complaints

Filing a complaint with the intent to deceive or knowingly submitting false information undermines our efforts to advocate for consumers against unethical business practices and will result in immediate termination of your complaint. Using stolen account information, initiating a stop payment on filing fees, or making any other attempt to defraud the CCA will result in the following action taken against you:
  • Your complaint will be dropped and the business/entity in question will be notified.
  • A negative designation will be placed in your consumer credit reports and recommendation will be made to terminate your credit/debit cards.
  • Recommendation to freeze assets and accounts will be made to your banking institution while an investigation is performed.
  • Civil and/or criminal charges may be filed against you.
Privacy

Unless the registrant of the complaint requests anonymity at the time of filing, CCA will provide the registrant's name and contact information to the business/entity in question. The business/entity will be encouraged to contact the consumer directly to reach the consumer's desired resolution or an acceptable compromise.

The CCA reserves the right to keep negative records on companies that have been complained about, but takes no responsibility for the accuracy of consumer complaints. The CCA does not adulterate or change consumer complaints in any way. The CCA does not accept money from third party agencies to falsify company records.

Due to a rise in lower quality products, confusing terms of service, and unethical business practices, the CCA hopes to provide comfort to those frustrated by conventional corporate excuses.
